Upcoming community events

Village of Erin Infrastructure Project — public information meeting (Session 2)
Monday, October 5, 2026, 6:00–8:00 p.m. (presentation at 6:30 p.m.). Shamrock Room, Centre 2000, 14 Boland Drive, Erin. Seating is limited; meeting materials will be posted on the Town of Erin website afterwards.

Erin Fall Fair — 175th anniversary
Friday, October 9 to Monday, October 12, 2026 (Thanksgiving weekend). Details at erinfair.com.

Erin Witches Walk — 5th annual
Friday, October 23, 2026, 6:30–9:00 p.m. Meet at The Tin Roof, 4 Main Street, Erin. Main Street will be closed to traffic 6:30–8:30 p.m. for the walk.

Road and construction updates (checked October 3, 2026)

Dundas Street East / Sideroad 15 (wastewater project)
Staged road closures and detours are in place as construction progresses; local traffic for homes and businesses is always allowed. For the current work areas and detour details, contact the project team at dundas@kappinfrastructure.com, or follow updates on the Town of Erin website and the project’s @dundaskapp posts.

Elora Cataract Trail
Closed between Trafalgar Road and Main Street / Wellington Road 124 while the gravity sewer is installed and 26 culverts are upgraded. The trail will be restored once the work is complete (expected December 2026). Source: Town of Erin construction update, July 7, 2026.
